Introduction

4. Information we process because we have a legal obligation

5. Account registration and course access
To use the antenatal course you create an account on our website. We ask for your name, email address, telephone number, expected due date and a password. We use this information to provide the course, to communicate with you about it, and to make the content and timing of the materials you receive more relevant to you. If you make a purchase through our checkout, we also collect your billing address, and we keep records of your orders.
5. Information relating to your method of payment
Payment information is never stored by us. When you pay for a course or product, your card details are entered into secure payment fields provided by our payment provider from within our checkout page. Your details go directly to the payment provider and are not sent to or held on our servers.
Our employees and contractors do not have access to your full payment details.
7. Use of the course and related content
When you use the course we record information about your activity, including which materials you have accessed and how far through them you have progressed. We use this information to administer the course, to improve the service we provide, and to inform the communications we send to you.
8. Marketing communications
Where you have given consent, or where we are otherwise permitted by law to do so, we may send you communications about the antenatal course, the wider services Cells4Life offers, and related information that we think will be of interest to you. These communications may be informed by the information we hold about you, including your use of the course. 9. Welcome-pack requests and related follow-up
If you ask us to send you a welcome pack about Cells4Life’s cord blood, cord tissue or placenta banking services, we will use the contact details you provided on registration to send the pack and to follow up with you about those services. By requesting the welcome pack, you consent to that follow-up. You can opt out at any time by contacting us as set out in this notice.
10. Sending a message to our support team
When you contact us, whether through our website or by e-mail, we collect the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need.
We record your request and our reply and personally identifiable information associated with your message, such as your name and email address so as to be able to track our communications with you to provide a high quality service.

When we receive a complaint, we record all the information you have given to us.
We use that information to resolve your complaint.

16. Other Cells4Life services
Where you have requested a welcome pack, opted in to communications about Cells4Life’s banking services, or otherwise indicated that you would like to hear from us about those services, your details will be used by the relevant Cells4Life team to follow up with you. Cells4Life Group LLP remains the controller of your personal data throughout.
17. Information we obtain from third parties
Although we do not disclose your personal information to any third party (except as set out in this notice), we sometimes receive data that is indirectly made up from your personal information from third parties whose services we use.
No such information is personally identifiable to you.

Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States and elsewhere.
